Snowboarding insurance is a necessity for anyone planning on going on a boarding holiday with winter. Whether you are taking off for a long weekend, a week or even a season, Downunder Insurance have a policy which will cover you for all the necessities, and then a little bit extra!
Our policies are ideal for anyone wanting high levels of cover for both skiing and general travel, and is available to anyone who has a residential address in the UK and who is 55 years of age on the date of departure. Our policies remain cheap as we endeavour to keep claims low by insuring healthy young travellers.
Whilst snowboarding is not considered a hazardous sport, it is perhaps slightly more risky than taking a beach holiday where the most strenuous thing do is a few laps of the pool. Our Winter Sports Policy offers you the following specific snowboard/ski related cover:
- Wintersports equipment, both hired and owned
- Ski Hire costs
- Ski pack, including lift passes
- Piste closure
- Delay due to Avalanche

Annual Multi Trip Insurance
If you plan on taking more than one snowboarding or holiday abroad trip during a 12 month period, and you don't intend to board for more than 21 days during that year, you will probably find it better value to buy an annual multi trip policy. Our annual multi trip policies provide Comprehensive travel insurance cover, with 21 days winter sports cover as standard. An Annual Multi Trip Travel Insurance Policy is available for trip durations of 31 days, 45 days or 61 days, and you may take as many overseas holidays as you wish up to the maximum trip duration you have chosen.
